18. SQUISHMALLOW PAINTING, 5-8yrs, Thursday 1.30pm-4.30pm, 17th July, 2025

Squishmallow Painting is a great introduction to painting with acrylic paint on canvas.

Kids will learn how to load their brushes, apply paint, mix colours & create contrast.

The basics of colour theory will be included so they can make the colours they need.

We will use large references  to help with our painting & kids will need to draw their animal to a large size (bigger things are easier to paint when you are learning).

The importance of  observation & proportion will be covered & the process of painting will be explained.

The results will be bright,  colourful & just adorable.
