Description
This workshop is a great introduction to acrylic painting or a way of expanding your experience. We will look at the vibrant works of Scottish painter Scott Niasmith. Kids will learn the basics of colour mixing, paint application, colour theory as well as the general process of making a painting. We will practise colour mixing techniques using a palette knife, how to make the colours you want, & learn how to work out what you need to do to tweak a colour. We will start with painting the background, then sketching up the basic composition & finally create the painting. Other factors like observation, proportion, colour theory & contrast will be covered. Results will be WOW!
