21. MOVING SCULPTURE, 5-12yrs Monday 9.30am-12.30pm, 20th July, 2026

Moving Sculpture is a great workshop for kids who love to build stuff, experiment & solve problems!

Based on the US artist Kit Davey who creates one of a kind hand made books & paper sculpture.

Kids will start by making a sketch & solving construction problems.

Sculptures will be constructed from heavy weight paper.

Kids will learn the basics of constructing, cutting, slotting, scoring, flanging, tabs & work out how to make the sculpture function smoothly.

As with all things, after a drawing to help with observation & recognising the parts we need, we will create the big bits first & work to the details last.
