20. PAPER SCULPTURE, 5-12yrs Monday 1.30pm-4.30pm, 19th April, 2026

Paper Sculpture is a great workshop for kids who love to build stuff, experiment & solve problems!

Based on the UK artist Emma Friedlander-Collins who upcycles to create artwork.

Kids will start by making a sketch & solving construction problems

Sculptures will be constructed from cardboard & coloured with various materials time permitting.

Kids will learn the basics of constructing, cutting, slotting, scoring, flanging, tabs & work out how to make the sculpture balance..

As with all things, after a drawing to help with observation & recognising the parts we need, we will create the big bits first & work to the details last.
