After-school Art Activities in Sydney
We offer small art classes of no more than ten children for our after-school activities, so everyone has a chance to get involved in our quality introduction to a wide range of art activities. A trained art educator with qualifications in both art and education and over twenty-five years’ experience runs these West Sydney classes so you can be assured that your child is getting a valuable learning experience.
Our classes are divided into groups for age-appropriate activities in a fun learning environment. We allow the kids to explore a range of art media and learn a variety of techniques through a selection of subjects that are relevant to the students. In our fun art classes for age groups 5-8 and 8-12 year olds, we offer the kids a wide selection of activities including clay work, drawing, painting, printmaking, design, sculpture and collage so they will experience and learn with a variety of materials.
We also love to teach a bit about artists, old & new to inspire kids with their own art making. Each term we provide different types of activities that enable your child to expand their skills, confidence and creativity.
For Children Who Love to Draw
If your child is one who loves to draw and you cannot get them to put down their pencil, then we have specific classes for drawing for children aged 8-12 years old. These after-school classes include activities that let your child experiment with a range of drawing materials such as pencil, charcoal, texta, ink, coloured pencil, pastel and paint. This is an ideal opportunity for your child to learn skills within each media area as well as developing their creativity in their artwork.
We cover a range of drawing types from realistic to imaginary as well as cartooning and stylised types of anime so there is sure to be a topic that your child will love. Each topic is also complemented with examples of artworks by a wide range of artists & from any period in art history so your child gets a balanced art education.
