Description
This workshop is a great introduction to painting portraits with acrylic paint.
We will be looking at Swedish artist Andres Olav Forss whose works are bold & dynamic.
They are realistic, but painted with large strokes & limited tones which is great for beginners , you can’t dwell on the tiny details .
Kids will learn how to load their brushes, use a palette knife, apply paint, mix colours as well as the basics of colour theory so they can make the colours they need.
The importance of observation & proportion will be covered & the process of painting will be explained.
We will paint a background for the portrait & then draw the face & outline it. The results will be amazing.
